A: Black bodice, round, tight fitting collar; down front on either side are 16 alternating hook fasterners are two 4" vertically pleated panels; on either side of these, vertical bands of black geometric braided lace with fringe which also runs along hemline of bodice; gathered, puffed at shoulder sleeves with border of same trim at wrist; lined in tan and black horizontally striped satin with 11 stays and an inner waist tie B: Skirt is black; waistband has few tucks; fastens in back with one large hook fastener; an under ruffle, finished in velvet binding protrudes 2" from actual hemline; 2" up from this hemline runs the braided lace trim; lined in panels of black and brown/green cotton
