Description
Three-piece G.A.R. reunion medal. Yellow metal bar pin at top with "COMRADE" label. Red silk ribbon with gold printing: "59TH ANNUAL / REUNION / 2ND CONN. / HEAVY / ARTILLERY / WINSTED / SEPT. 11, 1924." Ribbon gathered into a button with a black and white photograph of an elderly mustachioed man, the commander of the G.A.R. unit at the time of issue. Marks on back of ribbon and reverse of button.
