Description
G.A.R. souvenir medal with box. Pin bar is fancy shaped with depiction of a water fountain and legend inscribed: "QUEEN OF THE WEST / SOUVENIR" linked to star on medal. Circle band inscription: "32nd NAT/L ENCAMPMENT CINCINNATI SEPT. 5-10-1898-. Five points of stars have military symbols. Center is a gold disk with G.A.R. seal on front. City seal on back. Box with G.A.R. certificate band across front and manufacturer's seal on back.
