Description
Sterling silver, goblet-style trophy awarded at the Litchfield Horse Show, Litchfield, Connecticut. Engraved on front, "LITCHFIELD HORSE SHOW/AUGUST 1928/WON BY/KIM." Maker's mark stamped on bottom of foot, "INTERNATIONAL STERLING 6 9."
Provenance
Kim was a horse ridden by donor's father, Harold L. Colvocoresses (1913-1979). Photos of Colvocoresses with Kim are held in the LHS archives.
