Red leather case with brass hinges and claps in front. Engraved on top in gold "H.W. WESSELLS" Inside lined with purple silk. Divided into 8 rectangular recessed areas. Each to hold a medal. 4 slots - 2 on each side - to hold 2 rosettes each. Embossed in center "Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Co. Philadelphia"
