Description
Goods 27” wide block printed, the design is stripes of Hawthorn flowers and leaves on a dark ground (from over printing of brown, red, and yellow) alternating with madder red stripes containing paisley like conventionalized leaves and vermicelli of dark pots. Leaves are printed in yellow and penciled in light green. Certain characteristics of the drawing suggest an American attribution.
