Description
Off white lace collar and matching cuffs; tabs of collar are narrow, shape is a very shallow U; slightly scalloped bottom edge; cuffs same pattern as collar - central medallion with leaf shapes flowing out from it on each side

Collar and cuffs belonged to Mrs. James Hoppin (Lucretia Deming Perkins), aunt of donor. In 1851 Mrs. Hoppin's portrait was painted by Samuel Stillman Osgood (1808 � 1885) in Salem, MA wearing these collar and cuffs.
