Brown watermarked silk tafetta, trimmed in strips of blue velvet ribbon in geometric fashion, all lined with beige glazed cotton A: Skirt - six panels, pleated at waist; 11 velvet covered decorative buttons up the front panel, 3 bands of blue velvet ribbon trim around bottom of skirt, pocket set into seam of front panel B: Bodice - Sleeves cut off, buttons missing, shawl collar with insert, two gathers in front, trimmed in blue velvet, 7 stays sewn into lining C: Jacket - swing style, trimmed in blue velvet ribbon, sleeves with blue velvet ribbon and black lace, slit in sleeves at cuff edged with white silk, pleated and ruffles
