Vitreous glazed earthenware white cylindrical pitcher with modified helmet spout, simple moulded handle with single acanthus leaf decoration at top of thumb-grip. Moulded bands at rim and base. Underglaze dark green printed mark of wreath enclosing 1782/Phelps Tavern/1911 on side.
