Description
Rectangular textile fragment featuring unfinished applique work. Rectangular piece of blue cotton with stamped design, over which has been placed black lace braid work using a basting stitch. A small roll of the factory lace is attached at one end to the braid work. A maker's stamp and partial date have also been stamped at one end.

Accession record notes the fabric is likely English, with the work being added in western Massachusetts.
