Cane of plain, varnished wood, slightly tapered shaft; drill holes near top for wrist cord; carved into shaft below drill holes "Horton / 300"

"Made from rafter of house erected by Elisha Horton at Bantam, Conn. Horton was a member of a band of men dressed as indians who threw the tea into the Boston harbor & a captain in the revolutionary army, came from Boston to be foreman in the Bantam Paper Factory. Paper made these incase.
