Painting of a woman with only slight shadowy facial features are drawn. The face is made up of shadows rather than blatant details. The background plays around with how light and certain colors change an image. The background on the left side is a dark grey color which transitioning slowly into the original color of the paper, happening around ¾ of the way across the background. It can also be seen that the same grey color used for the background was used on the body of the woman as her dress is a slightly different color and is more of a dark blue compared to the right side of the painting.
