Wooden Round Top Clock

The clock is made of dark wood, with gold details on the front and around the clock face. The clock face is damaged; peeling along the sides. Below the clock face is a front panel, customized with an unknown medium. It features a blue background, with gold/black waves, fish, a bird, and a sailboat. There is a poem inscribed onto the inside of the clocks front panel, it reads “Dear God: be good, for the Sea is so wide and my boat is so wide.” Both the clock face and front panel are 6-inch circles. On the inside of the clock, behind the pendulum and weights in the trunk, there is a severely damaged sticker panel that lists directions on how to set up the clock.

This object along with accession number 2026-25-42b, were found together. 42b is the clocks key.
