Description
Square metal ballot box, painted green with thin gold lines decorating the edges. Hinged lid that locks at front, with round brass lock made by the Yale brand. Box flares out slightly where base meets lid, and is decorated with a painted gold band. Narrow slot cut in center of lid. Thin metal frame attached to front of box for inserting label; rounded metal handles attached at either side. Affixed on reverse are two labels: a small adhesive label with text "TOWN OF/LITCHFIELD/BOX #5 DIST #2" and a large piece of white paper with text "BALLOTS" in black marker, attached with black tape.
