Masonic medal on purple silk ribbon. Oblong gold bar across top with stamped decoration. "GRAND LODGE" across middle. Second oblong bar across middle with "CONNECTICUT " stamped across middle below. Circular pendant hanging below second bar from ribbon. Compass with ruler and triangle in middle. "1901" stamped in black on triangle. "WESTON G. GRANNISS / GRAND MASTER" in black around circle. Black leather case for medal. Four flaps with a snap closure on front. Inside central panel covered in purple velvet. Top and bottom flaps lined with purple silk. "THE C.G. BRAXMAR CO / MFG. JEWELERS, / 10 MAIDEN LANE, N.Y." stamped in gold on inside of right flap.
