Description
The covers are made of stiff paper covered with a sponged blue paper and the inside consists of a large sheet of blue lined paper. The circles of hair are sewn through the covers. There are 23 samples of hair of the Ruggles and Canfield family. The portfolio was made by mary Floyd Tallmadge (b. 1831, NYC m. 1864 Edward Seymour of Litchfield).
