Description
Instruction model for an election voting machine, commonly referred to as a lever machine. Rectangular, heavy, metal frame with olive drab coloring. Thin metal lip around front, flat on back. Attached on front are three rows of black levers with raised silver points; two larger black levers (party levers) attached to the left of the lower two rows; one single black lever attached at bottom-center, with red handle (record and reset lever). Inserted at top-left is an instruction card. Four paper strips inserted between the horizontal levers (from top: ballot questions, names of offices, candidates from each part). Metal plaque attached at top, with silver text "AUTOMATIC VOTING MACHINE CORP./JAMESTOWN, N.Y./INSTRUCTION MODEL/NO. 25395" on black background. Metal arm attached to frame to serve as a stand.
