Description
Leather bound case, jappened black with gold trim, satin back in a papier mache panel - circle of flowers, gilt and painted with mother of pearl inlay. Front panel of voals of red and gold surrounding an oval of a dog with bird in mouth in landscape scene. Push knob on side. Lined with blue velvet.

Used to contain daguerreotype of Augustus Lord (1815-1903) The daguerreotype is now stored seperately in the Archives.
