Description
Rectangular wooden jewelry box with dark veneers and geometric marquetry design. Wood burl veneer applied to top and front with dark hardwood veneers of the sides and the back. Green linen fabric attached to the bottom. The marquetry borders the top and front, as well as around the lock and around a metal rectangular decoration applied to the box top. Interior tray and lower compartment are lined with silver leaf. Tray has wooden inserts covered in gold fabric.

Brought by donor's father to Brooklyn residence, where it was broken into.
