Description
Artist crayon or graphite drawing on off-white paper. Drawing shows an abstract figure standing on a cliff or the edge of a raised surface. The figure's neck and torso are elongated and bent to the left. From the figure's neck hangs a bird shape from two thin lines. Drawing is unsigned.
Provenance
LaGardo Tackett was a ceramist, designer, and artist. In 1971, his family moved to Milton (Litchfield), Connecticut, where Tackett worked out of a studio on Headquarters Road. In 1976, he hung a solo show at the Oliver Wolcott Library featuring abstract drawings of human figures.
