Description
Section of the Matanzas, Cuba Atlantic Cable cut by the crew of the "Wilmington" and given to E.H. Foley during the Spanish American War. Body has one round brass collars on cable at one end. Exterior of cable is twisted iron strands with insides concentric layers of copper and iron strands.
