Description
Rectangular ribbon of blue or purple satin with notched bottom. Ribbon is bunched at top where it is attached to a round metal button. Button has white background with gold and purple border and black text, "First/Prize." Printed manufacturer's label on reverse of button. Printed on one side of ribbon in gold lettering, "GOSHEN/FAIR/SEPT. 1st/1930."
Provenance
Awarded at the Goshen Fair, Goshen, Connecticut, for equestrian event. Likely won by donor's father, Harold Colvocoresses (1913-1979).
