Green lense eyeglasses "Lawyers spectacles" oval lenses, "c" nose bridge, double-hinged temple bar, black leather case oblong form open at one end, embossed and picked in gold lettering on case: "Pratt & Ganung / Depot for Specs" Litchfield.
Comment
Traditionally known as lawyer's or merchant's glasses because the green (and sometimes blue) tint helps to eleviate tired eyes and glare.
