Description
Square metal plate with printed emblem of Litchfield's 250th anniversary celebration seal. Printed with black ink, offset lithography. Seal shows a Native American and European settler set in two rings of text, "1719 ANNIVERSARY 1969/LITCHFIELD, CONNECTICUT/250 YEARS" in the first; the second ring contains the marks of the fourteen Native American representatives and two colonial negotiators who signed the 1715 deed granting land to Litchfield's settlers.

Donor was a member of the town committee that planned the 250th anniversary celebration.
