Worn by Louise Arthur to a wedding when she was 11 years old; they appear to have been worn more than just to the wedding because of their condition. Arthur Karl Frederick Adenow, the donor’s son, was an architect who designed the 1913 Litchfield Courthouse, the Litchfield Country Club and the town center.
