Paper, pen and watercolor map of Julius Deming's orchard Depicts rudimentary barn with gates and fence in upper left corner. The rest of the map has drawings of fruit trees with numbers and the names pencilled in. There is a legend at the bottom in 7 columns. Produced by Clarissa Deming, daughter of Julius Deming, North Street, Litchfield, CT.

Clarissa Deming attended the Litchfield Female Academy in 1809-1811 Will be used for Landscape Project as Tapping Reeve owned a 6 1/2 acre lot, "the orchard lot" as per the summary of his real estate in his probate inventory. This land was probably part of the farm now at the bottom of South Lake Street.
