Description
G.A.R. medal. Three pieces. Yellow metal bar pin at top with "COMRADE" label. Red silk ribbon with gold lettering: "60th ANNUAL / REUNION / 2ND CONN. / HEAVY / ARTILLERY / LITCHFIELD / SEPT. 11, 1925." Ribbon gathered into button with black and white photograph of an older man with white beard and dark suit, the commander of the G.A.R. unit at the time of issue. Mark stamped on ribbon, back of photo button - paper label.
