Description
Termed "Sauerkraut Boots" wood soles and base of boot with leather at top forming boot; hobnailed soles; tabs on sides to help pull boots one. Base of shoe wooden - form for foot carved out from interior. Leather upper tacked down by two rows of metal nails closely spaced together. Leather stitched up two sides. Tabs at top on both sides of boot for pulling on. Leather sole on bottom tacked down with iron nails.
