A: Binoculars - metal handles covered in black leather, eye pieces black plastic, marked dial underneath each eye piece; ridged metal disk between two handles allowing vision to be adjusted; metal disk attached with metal wire to center of binoculars; etched into disk "Donated to U.S. Navy/F.K. Bull/Litchfield/Conn./1192" B: Case - leather case with long leather strap; metal buckle allowing strap to be adjusted; leather handle on lid of case; lid hinged on one side; elongated oval in shape; interior of case shaped to hold binoculars

Belonged to F. Kingsbury Bull of Litchfield who lent the binoculars to the U.S. Navy during WWII. They were returned to him after the war
