Description
The daguerreotype case looks like a book with gold design on spine, covers have papier mache decoration - the front decorated with a branch of flowers of inlaid mother of pearl and gilt paint brushed with colored varnish. Two brass clasps. Interior - opposite side of daguerreotype lined with red velvet. Was donated with daguerreotype in case but image has been removed.
