Corse linen ground worked in brown and black cotton thread. Alphabet stitched twice in a row - once in upper case and once in lower case. "Polly McNeils Exampler" stitched after alphabets followed by number 1 through 10 and dated "1792" Modern frame -wood painted black with rust colored mat board
