Description
Three piece G.A.R. reunion medal. Yellow metal bar pin at top with "COMRADE" label. Silk ribbon with gold printing: "57TH ANNUAL / RE-UNION / 2ND CONN. / HEAVY ARTILLERY / EAST LITCHFIELD, / CONN. / SEPT. 9, 1922." Ribbon gathered into back of a button with a black and white photograph of a white bearded man in a dark suit and spectacles, the commander of the G.A.R. unit at the time of issue. Marks on back of ribbon and back of button.
