Description
A - Black felt fore and aft or cocked naval hat with gold braid trim. On right side is gold braid with round black ribbon and a gilt button on which is an eagle, anchor and stars. Inner label reads "F.J. Heiberger, Washington, D.C." Size 7 1/4 B - Tin hat box, painted black. Formed in the same shape as hat. Latch closure on top, with handle on back. On front in gold lettering, "ESTABLISHED 1851/F.J. HEIBERGER/535 FIFTEENTH ST/WASHINGTON, D.C."
