Description
Black ground, both sides have floral decoration with mother of pearl inlay. Front has single double rose on spray with tinted varnish and fine brush work in gilt and a white lined gilt border with corner cartouches. Reverse side has a bouquet of a double rose, blue bells and dahlia and blue and gilt strap work border or Persian work. Hinged on one side, button catch on other. Metal name plate on top. Red velvet lining. Ivory rim missing on top opening, half left at bottom.
