Olive green single breasted army officer's jacket; four patch pockets; two bar chevrons on each arm; round patch - green with black animal on left arm (indicates 81st Infantry Division); band across back waist; pointed lapels; four brass buttons down front; epaulettes at shoulders, also have brass buttons Brass buttons have an american eagle insignia, stamped on back "Waterbury Button Co."
Provenance
Jacket owned by Lt. Wolcott Vaughn, a resident of Warren, CT, who served in Philippines during WWII. Donor is great-niece of Vaughn.
