Description
Abstract design, similar in layout to a mandala. Center medallion surrounded by rings of yellow, purple, and blue with twelve yellow rays extending from medallion to edges of work. Medallion border is drawn to resemble COVID-19 particle. Within medallion is a landscape scene showing rolling hills in front of a body of water, with a sunrise above.
Provenance
The series reflects the artist's own experiences with the COVID-19 pandemic, including her time in Italy in early 2020.
Comment
One of a series of ten prints from the artist's COVID-19 series. Original works were completed in aquarelle pencil on archival paper.
