Poster printed with, "WOMEN OF CONNECTICUT/ ARE YOU HELPING?/ These women are not only taking the place of the able bodied men who have all been called/ into service, but they are filling the places of work animals as well. Uncomplaining, with high/ devotion, the women of France bear the burden./ America's women must assume a a part of this food burden/ just as America's men are doing their part on the firing line./ Relieve transportation --- eat home grown foods-save wheat./ Obey administration orders as cheerfully as our soldiers/ obey administration orders of their offices./ Swat the lies of the German propagandists.
