G.A.R. Medal

Very thin pressed brass pin bar with decorative scrolled frame. In center of frame is piece of paper with "SOUVENIR" printed on it. Piece of clear plastic covers paper. Red, white and blue silk ribbon attached to bottom of pin bar. Ribbon gathered at bottom with metal ring. Hanging from metal ring is a round metal. Pressed brass frame. Center has round piece of paper with photographic image of a monument printed around image "Soldier's Monument Watertown, CT Dedicated Oct. 10th, 1908" Paper covered with a piece of plastic. Back of medal (where paper has been inserted into round frame) covered with inexpensive metal disk.
