Embroidered white linen and cotton handkerchief, elaborately embriodered also with open and drawn work with flowers, palms, pines, willows interspersed with pagodas and figures in exotic dress. Depicting General Lafayette's 1st and return trip to America. Profiles of Washington and Lafayette and two scenes entitled "Arrive de Lafayette a Charleston en 1777" and Lafayette au Tombeau de Washington en 1824" Framed under glass on both sides with black painted wooden frame.
