Description
G.A.R. rectangular ribbon. Frayed at bottom. Off-white color. Small silk flag, cinched in middle with gold thread attached to top of ribbon. Profile of bearded gentleman underneath stamped on ribbon in gold. Underneath written in gold lettering: "Golden Anniversary / 19th Conn. Infty/Afterwards/2nd C.V.H.A ./ Annual Reunion/Camp Dutton / Sept. 11, 1912." On back is large silk metal pin. Maker's label glued on back, reads "J. Sutta /Formerly 15 Meadow St. / Jeweler and Badge Maker / 136 Congress Ave. / New Haven, CT"
