Description
Ring and box. Gold ring with open work on band, oval mount set with facetted green glass or emerald, below mount is a microscope cylinder or tube, look inside to see a photographic image of a group of men entitled "Les Defenseurs de Italie" complete with a key to identify the men, which include the key figures in the Italian Liberation movement: Gen. Garibaldi, King Victor Emmanuel, Gen. Tracku, Gen. de Martisprey, etc.. The ring box is pink/red velvet with a rounded conical shape to top. Brass hinged lid. Lined with wite silk. Raised area on base for ring to rest. Label printed in gold lettering on inside of lid - Christophe Bremond/& Schoulz/Paris"
