Description
A: Dress - bateau neck with two folds each with fabric covered button; fabric loose over chest and gathered into stitched tucks which form a point at the waist; long sleeves; top of sleeves gathered into stitched tucks ending in ruched band from which fabric is released to form puffed sleeve which ends in tight cuff fastened with hooks and eyes; skirt falls in soft folds in front and is gathered in back; dress fastens in back with hooks and eyes from neck to waist; two diagonal rows of buttons are applied to back of dress which would follow line of pelerine when attached; dress lined with glazed linen B: Pelerine, same color and fabric as dress; triangular and seamed at shoulders; two rows of ruching trim the edge matching those at top of sleeve of dress; a row of fabric covered buttons is applied at shoulder seam; also lined with glazed linen
