Description
Small white ceramic creamer with single-bend handle, round body, wide spout, and transfer-printed decoration. Front of creamer has a color image of Shrubbery Park in Litchfield, CT, a name previously given to the central section of the town's green. Image shows trees, green laws bisected by walking paths, benches, and two memorials, with building in the background. In black text underneath, "Shrubbery Park, Litchfield, Conn." Thin gold border around image, under spout, and along upper edge. Printed in black on bottom, "MADE IN GERMANY FOR/W.G. GRANNISS/LITCHFIELD, CONN." Below, in incised lettering, the numbers "34" and "373/001."
