White wool flag with red cross in center, three metal eyelets on the inner edge.
Provenance
It is likely that this is the flag mentioned in the minutes of the October 8, 1898 special meeting of the Litchfield Chapter of the American Red Cross: "It was unanimously voted that the Red Cross flag made and presented to the Auxiliary by the children should be preserved with their names, and deposited with the other records of the Auxiliary in the Historical Society of Litchfield."
