G.A.R. medal. Three pieces. Yellow metal bar top with "COMRADE" label. Printed off-white silk ribbon with: "65th ANNUAL / REUNION / OF THE / 2ND CONN. / HEAVY / ARTILLERY / LITCHFIELD / SEPT. 11, 1930." Ribbon gathered into button with black and white photograph of mustachioed man in Union uniform, the commander of the G.A.R. unit at the time of issue.
