Description
Round medium-sized dish with high, straight flared edges. Lead glazed white ceramic, possibly stoneware based on the weight of the object. The Phelps Tavern emblem is transfer printed to the inside edge of the dish. Emblem is done in dark blue-green. Mark is the name "Phelps Tavern" surmounted by the date "1782," with the date "1911" below. Laurel branches cross underneath the words and curl up to surround the sides of the emblem.
