Brightly colored landscape pastel picture. Garden in foreground with trees and rolling hills beyond. Possibly a Litchfield scene. Framed under glass, paper on back of frame torn and falling off.
Comment
The pastel was exhibited at the New Haven Paint and Clay Club during their fall exhibition from November 26 - December 8, 1917. The original label from the exhibition is in the accession folder.
