Red wool center; embroidery design at two ends - blue flowers with green leaves; signature in white thread in one corner; two sides of shawl have 1 1/4" wide border of woven design; at each end of shawl block of paisley design; sewn to bottom of two sides under paisley block are five colored blocks of fabric embroidered with silk thread; fringe at bottom on two sides
