Description
Reading arm corner chair. Front ball and ring turnings on stretcher; back has vase and ring turnings. Cabriole legs, front leg with rayed pad foot. Skirt with 2 reverse curves with half-moon in center on 2 sides front; 2 back sides plain. Vase-shaped splats. Used as "Judge's" chair in moot court sessions held in the Law School. and as Tapping Reeve's reading chair.
Comment
Used by law students as the "Judge's" or chair during moot court. Students could take turns sitting in the chair and judging the current cases. Tapping Reeve's reading chair.
