Black and white lithograph of George Caitlin Woodruff house on South Street. (present day 58 South Street) Federal style house with clapboard siding. Door on right side of house. Covered porch along one side of home. Fence and hitching posts in front of house. Printed in block lettering at bottom "Residence of Geo. C. Woodruff, Esq. South Street"

Home was originally owned by local merchant Elihu Harrison and then bought by George C. Woodruff in 1842. It remained in the Woodruff family until 1977. Lithograph was found in Archive Collection and transferred to Object Collection in 2010.
